Raw Silk Handbag

This is a Raw Silk Handbag that is woven with Satin cording.  The basic color of the Silk is a Steel Gray.  However the basic color has been woven with Pink and Black.  I have included these colors in the cording.  I also have included a decorative weave.  The closer of the purse is a Flex Frame (it is pulled open and snapped shut by two pieces of Spring Steel).  It has  a braided Black Handle.  The inside is lined with Navy Blue Satin.

The purse measures 14″ Wide and 9″ in Height.

I call this Gypsy Purse.  I decorated this with all the fantasy fabric and cording in my stores.  It has cotton and silk fabrics that has been patched together.  I combined all of the colors that would add up to a celebration.  It is constructed with Turquoise beads and embroidered ribbon from India.

Tapestry and Leather

This is a Tapestry and Leather combination.  The Cocoa Brown Leather is clasped to the body of the purse with a Faux  Cougar incisor.  The theme of the purse is to combine modern day life with the charms on the side, similar to the charms that the Shamans used to protect a person.  Of course, the charms have no significance except for the fun.  The inside is Chartreuse Satin with three pockets, one for keys, business cards or candy, the other two could be used for a cell phone, glasses or pens.

The Tapestry is a Cotton with Gros Grain ribbon, and the shoulder strap is woven Cotton with a Wooden Ball on each side.

Come Fly With Me

Fly away with this roomy “Cat Tote”.  Multi layered fabrics combined to give this  purse a unique flavor.  The base fabric is Cranberry Boucle’  and the next layer is a handwoven Wool from Colombia and the last layer is an embossed layer of decorated leather from India.  Both sides are the same but one side the cats as a pocket, trimmed in Silk.  One of a kind.
